Was reading about supermemory, and found dhravan shah's profile on linkedin, saw his site and bumped on to one of his writings : Article Link A great read, also taught me, how people make most of what they have got and how colleges in India (especially the Tier 3 one's), actually teach students just to make them pass a university exam, which is anyways, very mediocre and below average, In all 4 years of my college, I never saw even a single person, who being a software engineer, came to give a lecture and actually made us see, in a direction, that can make us believe, Ohh there is so much more to this X thing, To produce better engineers, better talent, The education systems surely needs improvement, yes, the student can do a lot on there own, but what if the college's also do there tiny bit to help the students out !!

woke up to a new hype on the internet today about the classifier model JEV, Excited when they make it open source, so that I can really see, can it be compared to a locally trained model for that purpose, its better than an LLM already, but excited to see its battle with a locally trained model, for classification, currently its fast, but that network hop induces a slight delay in decision, which might go away in case of local runs !

This all was so good to know man, I mean, I used to study in my college that the os does this, it yk allocates memory, and this that, process management, and internally it must be using sys calls to do all of this, even when we talk about docker, it must be just creating a namespace, dropping it in cgroups and then, yk trimming some capabilities down and surely a bunch of other things, but now its not something that i have no idea of, what happens beneath sooo yess cool stufffff

ayyo learnt about the costumes a process wears to become a container, and those are : Namespaces , which define what a process can see stored in node id numbered format, and there are total 12, cgroup, hostname, network, etc, and then there are cgroups, which define what a process can see, and i was amazed by the fact that these are literally directories inside sys/fs/cgroups, and to each directory the kernel allocates certain files for specific resources like memory, disk i/o, and we can manually set cap by writing in those files, and then we can add pid's for specific processes to belong to that c group, and then there is capabilities, which defines the set of permissions, a process can have, and this functionality actually helped in splitting the "root" and normal , all or nothing permission set to 40 different permissions !!!

I think regression pipelines are something every one should take care of man, I mean, why do you not want to resolve something that is broken, some one who introduced that pipeline to catch those regressions aint gonna maintain it throughout the lifetime, if you see something failing, and probably some environment issue, fix itttt. !!!!!!
